If RAIN or BAD Weather on Sun., June 9th, We will have ALL Activities @ Church
Free Lunch will be served. Door prizes (including fishing rod kits!) will be given away at end of event. Every child will win something. No fishing experience or gear is necessary. We will have fishing gear, bait, and tackle for your child to use.
Families are to meet in parking lot of Mays Chapel Baptist Church (MCBC), 24 Rosser Rd., Bear Creek, NC, 27207 at 12:45pm. Volunteers will greet you w/ an informational flyer for event, and escort you to fishing hole. If you are running behind, don't worry as someone will be at church until the end of the event to assist you and signs will show the way to fishing hole off Rosser Rd.

What to Bring:
Sunscreen. Bugspray. Excitement :-) ! Please bring your child's fishing rod (if available). Don't worry if you don't have one. We will have loaner rods available. Please bring your own chair, and if your child cannot swim, please bring a life vest or arm floaties for them to wear for their safety. Please stay, supervise, and cheer your child on if possible. This will be a blessed time of making memories w/ your kids & fellowship w/ new friends. We will be fishing in a fully-stocked, clean private pond loaded with shellcrackers (BIG Bluegill), bass, and catfish. This is a catch-and-release only tournament. Volunteers will be onsite to help your children fish and to take fish off the hook. Prizes given for biggest fish, first fish, and most fish caught. FREE FACE PAINTING & other activities available.

Free Refreshments afterwards, and Child Care IS provided. Come out for a free date night or bring your friends & fam for a free night of GREAT MUSIC, fun & fellowship!
In God's timing, New Direction Bluegrass Gospel Band came together to form a great bluegrass gospel sound. Together these four friends love singing praises to their Lord and Savior. Bobby Gales, the founder, plays banjo and guitar. in addition, he sings lead, baritone, and bass. Charity Gales' beautiful vocals and outstanding bass playing add richness tot he sound of the band. Pastor Greg Burriss adds wonderful tenor harmony and occasionally will provide a strong lead vocal, all while playing mandolin. Billy Mickle enjoys playing guitar and can be heard adding some baritone, tenor, and singing lead. When you put them together, it is truly a blessing to hear.
